The mini-games shelf

Small ideas.
Fully playable.

Not every idea needs to become a grand project. Some just need a free evening, a browser, and enough curiosity to see what happens.

When boredom strikes, I like making small web-based games and experiments—quick places to try a mechanic, revisit an old idea, or simply build something colourful for the fun of it.

Why I built it

An old memory,
with new colour.

I remembered Conway’s Game of Life from years ago and wondered whether I could build it myself. That was really all the excuse I needed to open a blank project and start experimenting.

The original idea is beautifully simple, but I wanted this version to feel modern and tactile: glowing cells, colourful themes, classic patterns, and controls that invite you to pause, paint, randomise, and watch tiny worlds evolve.

  • Four colour themes
  • Classic patterns
  • Live simulation controls
  • Infinite wrapping world
There is room on the shelf

More tiny distractions will arrive whenever curiosity wins.
